Event Management
You've paid for the booth, so the show has to go right.
Shows are expensive and the days are long. I'll be the person on the floor running the crew, the schedule and the vendors and dealing with whatever goes wrong, so you can spend your time with customers.
What I handle
Before the show I build the schedule and run sheet and line up the crew and vendors. During move-in I manage set-up of displays and activations, and on show days I run the floor: staff, timing, visitors, lead capture and the problems nobody planned for. After the show I manage tear-down and move-out and send you a short wrap-up report. If you want, I can also follow up with the leads you collected by email (see Online stores).
Experience
Built on a national auto show tour.
Through my own company, I was the on-site manager on a national auto show tour for two major car brands. I also studied Business Administration – Automotive Marketing at Georgian College, so I know how dealer, manufacturer and agency teams work together on a show floor.
Who it's for
This fits brands and agencies running consumer or trade show displays, auto, powersports and marine dealers and manufacturers, outdoor and retail brands at industry shows, and local businesses running a launch or community event.
How it works
Book a 30-minute Discovery Call and walk me through the event, the dates, the location and what a good result looks like. I'll send a fixed quote based on the prices below, and travel is billed based on location. We agree on the run sheet and the crew and vendor schedule before move-in, I run the floor on show days and keep you updated, and you get a wrap-up report and the leads afterwards.
Pricing
Prices are in CAD, plus HST if applicable. I'll give you a fixed quote after a 30-minute call.
Single-Day Show
from $2,500
One show or activation day. It covers up to about 8 hours of planning (schedule, run sheet, crew and vendor lineup), move-in, one full show day on the floor, tear-down and move-out. I also set up lead capture by loading your qualifying questions into the show's scanner or app and briefing your staff, and you get a written wrap-up report within 5 business days.
Multi-Day Show
from $4,500
Up to three show days. It covers everything in the Single-Day Show, plus up to about 12 hours of planning and a staff briefing each morning. Extra show days are $900 each.
Lead Follow-Up add-on
$750 per show
After the show I bring your leads into the email platform and check each contact's consent. Only the people who gave consent get emailed, the same way I track consent on the CASL page. Within 48 hours of the show closing I send them a three-email follow-up, then give you a short summary of the results.
The small print
- Extra planning, overtime and pre-show site visits are $150/hour.
- Travel is billed based on location.
- A 50% deposit books the date, and the balance is due with the wrap-up report.
- Booth staff, rentals and lead-retrieval devices are usually arranged and paid for by you directly. If I arrange them for you, they're billed at cost plus a handling fee.
- If you run four or more shows a year, I can quote them as a monthly retainer.
