Veteran-owned·Nobel, Ontario·Remote, on your schedule

Nobel, Ontario · Since 2015

You built the business. Now it runs you.

I look at how your field service business actually runs, set up the right software around it, and then stay on with light monthly help so it doesn't slide back. I work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, cleaning and other shops with crews on the road and an owner stretched thin.

Is this you?

  • You're at the kitchen table doing invoices after the crew's gone home.
  • A customer called twice about a quote, and nobody called them back.
  • The schedule lives in your texts, so every change means another round of calls.
  • A crew showed up and the customer wasn't home, or the crew went to the wrong job.
  • Job forms are on paper in the truck, so finding one when a client asks takes half a day.
  • You bought field service software, but it never got set up properly and the team went back to the old way.
  • The busy season was good, but cash still runs tight through the slow months.
  • Every decision still lands on you, which is why a week away never seems to happen.

If a few of these sound familiar, book a call and tell me what's going on. I'll tell you straight whether I can help, and if I can't, I'll say so.

How it works

Three steps, and you always know the price before we start.

  1. 1

    Audit, $1,500.

After a free 30-minute call, I look at how one part of your business actually runs, such as scheduling, quoting and invoicing or job paperwork, and give you a written plan to fix it. It's done remotely, by video and screen share, so it fits around your week.

  2. 2

    Software setup, $1,800 or $3,500.

I set up the tools from the plan. Software Setup (Essentials), $1,800, gets quoting, scheduling and invoicing running in one place. Field Service Software Setup (Complete), $3,500, adds your CRM, online booking, automated follow-ups and written how-to guides. Both include one training session for you and your crew.

  3. 3

    Monthly Support, $300/month.

Up to 2 hours a month to keep your tools running, make small changes as the business shifts and answer your team's questions, so the setup doesn't slide back. Every setup includes a move onto Monthly Support afterward ($300/mo, 3-month minimum).

Note: Half the audit fee ($750) comes off a setup package if you book it within 30 days. For a one-off question, Hourly Consulting is $150/hour, booked in 90-minute blocks ($225). Prices are in CAD, plus HST if applicable. Full details and pricing →

Who it's for

Owner-led field service shops with crews on the road and an owner stretched thin, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, cleaning, pest control and property maintenance businesses. Smaller and larger shops are welcome too, and the free call is where we find out whether it fits.

A fair question

Why pay me when the software company onboards you for free?

Most field service software comes with free onboarding, and you should use it. It shows you how the software works, but it doesn't know your crews, your prices or how your jobs actually run. I set the tool up around your business, bring in your old data, tie it to your email and your books, and stay until the team is using it, which is where most setups fall apart.

Websites, Google listing, social and ads

Get found, then get the work into your system.

A website and ads only pay off when the enquiries land somewhere your team actually checks. I build trades websites, set up Google Business Profiles, run social posting and manage ads, and I connect each one to the tools we set up, so every lead turns into a job you can track.

Prices: Trades website from $2,500 · Google Business Profile setup $400 · Social posting from $500/month · Google or Meta ads from $600/month (ad spend separate)

Other ways I help

  • High-risk and regulated businesses. If ad platforms, payment processors or messaging tools keep restricting you, I set up marketing and operations that keep working inside the rules. → /regulated
  • Shows and events. I still work the floor at auto shows each season and take a limited number of show projects, quoted after a call. → /events

Why work with me

I've done the work I'm offering to help with.

I've spent years in the field and leading crews, so I know what it takes to keep people, schedules, budgets and vendors on track week after week. Along the way I brought in the scheduling, job-form and documentation software those crews ran on, and I learned which tools crews actually use and which ones they quietly stop opening.

I'm a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, I've managed marketing for large national brands, and I've run my own Canadian online store since 2015, so I've handled buying, pricing, inventory and the books myself. When you work with me, you deal with me directly, not an account manager.

The Field Service Owner's Hours-Back Checklist

It's a short check of the places a field service week usually leaks time, from callbacks and scheduling to invoicing and job forms. It's two pages and takes about 20 minutes, and you finish with three fixes to start with, whether or not you ever call me.

Tell me what's eating your week.

The call takes 30 minutes and costs nothing. Come with the problem, not a plan, and we'll work out together whether I'm the right person to help.
